1.
How long your wait list?
This
is a very hard question to answer considering it all
depends on Mother Nature and what your preferences are.
You can expect to wait anywhere from 6 months
to 2 years or more.
2.
How much are your dogs?
All
my puppies are priced at $1500.00 USD
3.
Are your prices in Canadian funds because you live in
Canada?
My
quoted prices are in US Dollars (unless otherwise stated) -
I will quote in Canadian dollars on request.
4.
What kind of temperment does the AKK have? Are they
good with children, other dogs and cats?
My
Alaskan Klee Kai are raised with children, other dogs
and cats. They all live very harmoniously together.
I think this question really depends on who already
lives in your household. Being an obedience trainer
my dogs go everywhere with me. I highly recommend that
you take your dog to an obedience class. The more socialization
that they have during their younger years the better
- for any breed!
5.
Do you ship your dogs? And at what age can you ship
puppies?
I
will considering shipping puppies by plane as long as
it is a direct flight and prefer if you fly with the
puppy. Please note that all shipping
expenses are the responsibility of the new owner. I will not ship or sell any pup
under 8 weeks of age.
6.
How many pups usually in a litter?
Because
this is a small breed, a normal litter size is 2
or 3. But, we have had a record breaking litter
of 8.
7.
How big do they get?
The
AKK have three varieties (toy, miniature and standard) ranging
from 10 in. - 17in and can weigh from 7 - 25 pounds.

8.
Do you require a deposit to be on your wait list?
No,
but a completed questionairre is the first step
in getting on my wait list. Once a pup is available
that meets your requirements then I require a phone
interview. This gives both of us the opportunity
to ask any questions and get to know each other
better.
